On Wednesday, February 6th, do not miss the next concert of the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra with Miron Hauser as the conductor! The Orchestra will host the legendary American saxophonist Jesse Davis. Born and educated in New Orleans, Davis followed the tradition of the Marsalis family, Charlie Parker and Cannonball Adderley. In the 1989 the Down Beat Magazine gave him the prestigious Most Outstangind Musician Award. His concert in Zagreb, at the Gorgona Hall of the Museum of Contemporary Art, will feature jazz standards as well as his own compositions. Jesse contributes a flawless technique and a natural feeling for the blues to everyone of his performances. His music has been described as neo-bop but, as he says, ...all I wanna do is play beautiful music.
