Miron Hauser, born in Pula, Croatia in 1985, graduated trombone at the Music Conservatory in Graz (Austria) in the class of Ed Neumeister after which he completed his postgraduate studies at the Music Conservatory Giuseppe Tartini in Trieste (Italy). During his studies he attended numerous masterclasses and workshops of distinguished jazz musicians and teachers: Bob Brookmeyer, Luis Bonilla, Nils Wogram, Rick Margitza, Bart van Lier, Eric van Lier, Hein Van de Geyn, Glenn Ferris, Jery Bergonzi, Phil Abraham, John Thomas, Miguel Zenon and many others. But his first encounter with jazz occured before his formal education, as a member of the Jeunesse musicale de Croatie jazz orchestra (from 2014 till 2012). This orchestra was an oportunity for him to play with most eminent jazz musicians in the world: Deborah Carter, Juan Garcia-Herreros, Andreas Haderer, Donny McCaslin, Kokan Dimusevski, Karolina Strassmayer, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Sherisse Rogers, Renée Manning, Cubismo, Joseph Bowie, Pete McGuinness, John Thomas, Mark Feldman, John Hollenbeck, Refuge Trio, Dave Liebman, Luis Bonilla, Dena DeRose, Lasse Lindgren, Peter Erskine, Jim McNeely, Deborah Brown, Jonas Knutsson, Michael Philip Mossman, Don Menza, Man Sound, Miljenko Prohaska, Yellowjackets, Randy Brecker, Petern Herbolzheimer, Kristina Oberžan, Gustavo Bergalli, Victor Villena, Bob Mintzer and many others. From 2011 he has been a permanent member of the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra. He is also member of the Jazz Istra Association and one of the founders of the Jazzistra Orchestra, made from professional jazz musicians from the Region of Istria (Croatia) which started its activity in 2014. With both Croatian Radiotelevision and Jazzistra orchestra, Miron Hauser introduced himself to the audience as an arranger, composer, conductor and soloist. Miron Hauser is a member of the B's Funstallation jazz sextet which recorded their first album 2015 and was nominated for the prestigious Croatian discography awardPorin in the category of the best jazz album. He is the double winner of the Status award of the Croatian Musician Society as the best jazz trombonist (2015 and 2018). Considering his interest in the latin music, he is the leader of the salsa group Sandunga, and played with many latin musicians, including the world popular Cuban salsa group Maykel Blanco y su salsa mayor. He has also been a member (from 2011 till 2016) of the popular Croatian pop band Jinx and has collaborated with some of the most renowned Croatian pop artists such as Oliver Dragojević, Nina Badrić, Natali Dizdar and Gibonni. During the 2015/16 concert season of the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra he held the author's evening named Tu fragancia where he presented himself as the composer, conductor and soloist. The programme had been performed throughout Croatia, in Italy (Muggia Jazz Festival), in Slovenia in collaboration with the Ljubljana Radiotelevion Big Band and in the end of this November the programme will be performed in at te International Radio Orchestras Festival which will take place in Bucharest (Romania). During this concert season he will be conducting several programmes of the Orchestra.
